A professional recycling performance begins with the shipment and the loading actions of the old appliances, in this case EN-PRO observes the careful interaction with old appliances in order to prevent the escape of harmful substances due to damage.
In the course of the dismantling of the old appliances harmful substances (CFCs, oils, components that contain PCB or mercury) will be completely separated/ recycled/disposed in an orderly manner.
The old appliances are dismantled to such an extent that a high degree of recyclable material fractions is extracted. EN-PRO is thus able to achieve a recycling quota of more than 95% in the field of refrigeration appliances, i.e. 95% are returned to the material and energy cycle and 5% have to be disposed of.
High quality storage bins are produced from the plastics (polystyrene) in the transfer moulding process. The storage bins can be purchased from EN-PRO.
Our clients receive detailed documentation of the recycling performance (material streams, recycling paths and documentary evidence) extending beyond the stipulated waste disposal certification.
An overview of the acceptance and recycling quotas of old appliances in accordance with the Electronic Equipment Acts based on the WEEE directive 2002/96/EC is provided to the respective monitoring authority each year.
