Detailed knowledge of the treatment processes of appliances and materials and the practical implementation in the in-house waste disposal plant provide the basis for optimised environmental engineering plant construction.

Thus a refrigeration device disposal plant for the complete disposal of refrigeration appliances was developed and constructed, which also meets the market requirements of threshold and developing countries but still meets the highly demanding German waste disposal standards.

System for the treatment of cooling units and refrigeration devices that contain CFCs

Disposal of cooling units level 1

In this process the refrigerants and the low-temperature oil are completely removed from the old cooling unit and separated in the system. Two types of system are available for the waste disposal level 1:

  • Model LE stationary waste disposal system (standard rate of 60 cooling units per hour).
  • Model ME mobile waste disposal system.

The individual systems can be equipped in line with the customers’ wishes.

Additional information on the LE model is available here as a download (0.70 MB) in pdf format or request our brochures via e-mail.

Systems for the treatment of cooling units with combustible refrigerants

In the extraction system for combustible refrigerants (R600a) model PE that was developed by EN-PRO, the refrigerant and the low temperature oil is completely removed. The low temperature oil is freed from gas in the system. The refrigerant is usefully recycled and can also be used as a power gas depending on the level of purity.

Systems for the treatment of cooling units containing ammonia

A procedure that has been further developed for the freeing of cooling units that contain ammonia from gas enables the effective and environmentally friendly treatment of approx. 30 cooling units per hour.

Disposal of cooling units level 2

In the disposal stage 2 the cooling unit carcase is shredded and broken down into the various material fractions. In this sector EN-PRO cooperates with various providers of corresponding waste disposal systems.

Additional information on the PE and LE model is available here as a Download  (0.46 MB) in pdf format, or request our brochures via e-mail.

EN-PRO is a genuine partner of the clients ranging from the project planning, project development and project implementation and extending to the commissioning and beyond.
